About us
Bluerocracy was started in 2011 as a strictly Blues band doing covers of well known bluesmen but doing their lesser known numbers. Our music then expanded to include some Soft Rock with the odd more contemporary song thrown in.
Bluerocracy has gone through a couple of changes from the original lineup with Mike and Rod being the founding members and Dean joining 9 years ago, we have added two ladies, Jacky and Kylie who have added a feminine dynamic and energy to the band. With Jax venturing solo we have brought in David on lead vocals for a short stint.
2024 Beverly Jane Joined Bluerocracy on vocals coming in with her powerhouse voice.
Mid-2024 Bluerocracy went into hiatus to eventually not carrying on, losing the lead guitarist Mike as he went to follow his dream, Kylie deciding to focus on her career.
In 2025 Dean took over Bluerocracy and started up again with new ideas and ventures.
Even though we are doing covers, our sound has developed into a unique Bluerocracy sound.
